cashing in on the day

A random photo from the family archive, seeing today is one of the days you can't avoid pictures of blokes in uniforms.

My paternal grandfather served in the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces in WWI. At some point he acquired a camera and a box of medium format, poorly stored, negatives survive from his time recuperating from his war wound in England. Later images show his life in NZ, wife and children.

Can't tell you anything about the photo above. It could be a trip on the Thames while on leave in London? It could be post-war?
