in case you ever wanted to know

I really must decimate my filing cabinets more often. How then would I have ever known how to wear a sari and other such stored knowledge from Life Before The Internet?

Now if anyone has any ideas what to do with Too Good To Ever Wear silk saris. The most beautiful blue and a prized wedding sari of the finest purple shot with gold. A gift from a long gone but significant ex, who had warned me not to chop them up because he'd paid dearly for them but...

Actually, I _did_ want to know. A friend of mine gave me a sari years ago and I never did anything with it, not having any clue as to how it was supposed to be worn! :) Thanks!

As for the "too beautiful to cut" sari... a friend of mine once created sort of a fluffy cloud feeling in her bedroom by stapling pale blue and white organza (?) on her ceiling (creating soft "bumps"). Maybe using the sari for decoration? (on a wall, draped over a curtain, etc.?

ahh lemme at it. We'll see what the windows or maybe a wall could do with. And the long gone significant ex shall be giggled about yet again, very soon. Love P
